How much does it cost to use services at DenverWorks? All of our services are free.
Do you have to live in certain county to receive assistance? No, we help anyone who is willing to come to our offices.
Is DenverWorks a staffing agency? No, we are a nonprofit organization which assists people with job preparation and placement. Our client managers provide community referrals and job leads, but we do not actually hire or place people in positions.

Do you provide bus tokens? Unfortunately, we are not able to provide bus tokens unless you qualify for the one of our grant-funded programs for recently-released former offenders. To apply for this program, you must attend a former offender workshop.
Do you provide clothing for interviews and work? Yes. People who attend the former offender workshop will be able to visit the clothing closet after the workshop. People who attend the jobseeker workshop can get a referral from their client manager.
What types of people does DenverWorks serve? Anyone age 17 or older is welcome to attend one of our workshops. You will then be eligible for client management services if you can (1) provide documentation that you can work in the U.S.; (2) speak and understand English; and (3) pass a drug test. We serve a wide variety of people, but specialize in helping people with barriers to employment such as former offenders, immigrants and people who have struggled with homelessness, addictions or lack of education.
Can you help me with housing, medical care, child care, etc.? We can provide referrals to other agencies in the Denver metro area that provide these services at little or no cost. Resource lists are available at our office.
Do you provide services for Spanish speakers and biliguals? Yes. Anna Aragon, our Employment Ready Program Director is bilingual.
