| Sandy Blaylock, Executive Director
Prior to joining DenverWorks, Ms. Blaylock served as the Chief of Staff to Colorado’s Lieutenant Governor. Sandy has more than 25 years of senior management and executive experience in administration and operations in local and state government, small business, corporate, nonprofit, and higher education sectors. She holds a master’s degree in counseling from Colorado Christian University. She and her husband Bob are the parents of six children; three are grown and three are a young sibling family recently adopted, and grandparents of two grandsons.

| Anna Aragon, Employment Ready Program Director Ms. Aragon has over 25 years of experience in human resources, office administration, management and operations, in both corporate and nonprofit. She has been with DenverWorks for ten years providing client management, training, job development and program oversight. Anna is a Denver native, resides in the community she serves, and is fluently bilingual in Spanish. She and her husband are the parents of four sons and grandparents of six grandchildren.

| Deb Brannan, Operations Director Ms. Brannan earned her master’s degree in counseling from Denver Seminary and is a National Certified Counselor. Prior to joining DenverWorks, she served in the fields of publishing, education administration, human resources, and crisis counseling. Deb joined the DenverWorks team eight years ago and has served as client manager and trainer in addition to her current responsibilities as operations director. Deb has two grown sons and one grandson.

| Monica Colbert, Development and Community Relations Director Ms. Colbert has an extensive background in marketing and program development as an advertising executive, focusing on fundraising and program awareness for nonprofit organizations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix. Monica is passionate about increasing community awareness and involvement in the mission of DenverWorks. She has two daughters.

| Lynn Ester, Program Assistant Prior to coming to DenverWorks, Ms. Ester was employed at U S WEST for 28 years doing project management, relocation activities, presentation development, customer service, and billing. She also owned her own business for five years which provided document preparation services, database development, and computer maintenance. Her education includes business administration and computer science coursework at Regis University and the University of Colorado, Denver. Lynn has one grown son.

| Melanie Hanson, Accounting Specialist Ms. Hanson earned a master’s degree in international development from the University of Denver in 1999, and has been overseeing the financial affairs of DenverWorks for seven years. She has worked for various nonprofits in program coordination, grant writing, and bookkeeping. She and her husband have two sons.

| Jenifer Reynolds, 2nd Chance Program Director Ms. Reynolds earned her associate's degree in social human services from Seattle Central Community College and is currently enrolled in the correctional ministry credential program at Wheaton College, specializing in reentry ministry. She has over six years of experience in management, volunteer recruitment and coordination, and case management. Jenifer’s passion is working with low income, at-risk, homeless, and other disadvantaged populations. She has extensive volunteer and community networking experience in Denver and Boulder counties. Jenifer has one daughter.

| Matt Stout, Client Manager
Mr. Stout is pursuing a bachelor's degree in human services at Metropolitan State College of Denver. He came to DenverWorks as an intern in May 2009 and was hired as a program assistant upon completion of his internship. In 2010, Matt was promoted to Client Manager. He has been employed by Adams Twelve Five Star Schools, UPS and Parking Co. of America. He is a Colorado native and has one sister.

Contractors: Angela Christensen, Media and Special Projects Ms. Christensen is working with the DenverWorks staff to support our fundraising events and publications. Angela was previously the Executive Assistant to Colorado’s Lieutenant Governor and is a graduate of Colorado Christian University. She and her husband are the parents of twin sons.
Ken Roberts, IT Specialist Mr. Roberts has nearly 30 years of experience in the IT field. He has been serving DenverWorks for six years, overseeing all computer applications and teaching the Essentials computer classes. He is married to his high school sweetheart and has three married children and nine grandchildren.
