Workshops We Offer
Jobseeker Workshop
DenverWorks' jobseeker workshop is the entry point into the Employment Ready Program. This half day workshop is offered twice a month on Thursdays. Once a client has completed the jobseeker workshop, they are matched with a client manager who provides individualized job search assistance such as career counseling, resume' preparation, job leads, interview coaching, community voicemail and e-mail setup and community referrals.

Former Offender Workshop
DenverWorks' former offender workshop is the entry point into the 2nd Chance Program. This half day workshop is offered twice a month on Thursdays. Topics for the workshop include job search strategies for former offenders, tips on responding to difficult interview questions, and an introduction to industries and employers who are felon-friendly. Once a client has completed the jobseeker workshop, they are matched with a client manager who provides employment assistance to the. 2nd Chance offers job leads clothing, computer lab access, mentoring opportunities, and other assistance based on individual needs and qualifying criteria.
