Workshops We Offer
Employment Ready Workshop
DenverWorks' Employment Ready Workshop is the entry point into the Employment Ready Program. This half day workshop is offered on Thursdays. Once clients have completed the workshop, they are matched with a client manager who provides individualized job search assistance such as career counseling, resume preparation, job leads, interview coaching, community voicemail, and e-mail setup and community referrals.
2nd Chance Workshop
DenverWorks' 2nd Chance Workshop is the entry point into the 2nd Chance Program. This half day workshop is offered on Thursdays. Topics for the workshop include job search strategies for former offenders, tips on responding to difficult interview questions, and an introduction to industries and employers who are felon-friendly. Once clients have completed the workshop, they are matched with a client manager who provides employment readiness assistance. 2nd Chance offers job leads clothing, computer lab access, mentoring opportunities, and other assistance based on individual needs and qualifying criteria.
